Move from feeling uncomfortable and ineffective to empowered and confident.

You’re an AWESOME therapist. You frequently get feedback that you’re good at what you do and you see the results in your clients. But when it comes to working with grief, you feel helpless, ineffective, ill-equipped, or just plain uncomfortable. Instead of being present with a client and their grief, you get caught up in your own anxiety-based thoughts like: “Eek, I don't know what to say. I hate not having all the answers…” or “I don’t want to do more harm than good, but what if I say the wrong thing?” or “this traumatic story is just too much to bear witness to…”

Why you should learn from me.

Hi! I’m Nikki Sewell, LCSW, and a self-described “grief nerd.”

After recovering from my own losses (by the time I was 30 years old, I had lost a parent and a spouse, what?!?), my personal journey through loss became a professional mission to support others through their experience of loss. I’ve created a process to help clients move from the shock, disorientation, and trauma of their loss through the devastation and loneliness toward rebuilding a life worth living. Even when the thought of moving forward without their loved one seems impossible. I’ve solidified processes for screening, intake assessment, treatment planning, short-term “brief grief intervention” and longer-term interventions for grief counseling and therapy, as well as psychoeducation to normalize the grief process when clients just feel like they’re “going crazy.”

What you will learn by enrolling now.
